Bill Hader, the newly-retired “Saturday Night Live” star spilled the beans about what it was like backstage when the pop star hosted back in February.
While on Howard Stern’s radio show on Wednesday, Hader said that Bieber’s large entourage was distracting and made it hard for the cast and crew to work around.
“Justin Bieber showed up with like 20 guys. And every time, backstage is a very small constructed place, he had a guy holding a slice of pizza, a guy holding a Diet Coke. You were trying to fight around all these people to get dressed.”
He then compared Bieber with another A-list celebrity “SNL” host, Justin Timberlake, who he says came to host the show without any hangers-on.
“Timberlake, it was just him. He’s a real class act, that guy.”

Justin Timberlake has scheduled a busy March to coincide with the release next month of his new album “The 20/20 Experience”.  He will host and perform as musical guest March 9th, on Saturday Night Live…and he’ll spend a week at Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.
Timberlake will perform on Late Night each night between March 11th-15th, and sit down with Fallon for interviews at the beginning and end of the week.
JT has also been planning a stadium tour (approximately 10-15 dates) this Summer with Jay-Z.
