The National Capital Commission presents Alcatel-Lucent Sunday Bikedays in Canada’s Capital Region. This year marks the 43rd season of Alcatel-Lucent Sunday Bikedays. Every Sunday morning until September 1.

This summer, rediscover your Capital by bike, during Alcatel-Lucent Sunday Bikedays. This unique program allows residents and visitors to experience the beauty of the Capital in a fun and friendly way.

Over 50 kilometres of scenic parkways in the heart of the Capital and Gatineau Park that are closed to motorized traffic and reserved for cyclists, in-line skaters, runners and walkers.

In Ottawa: from 9 am to 1 pm on the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway, Colonel By Drive and the Rockcliffe Parkway.

In Gatineau Park: from 6 am to 11 am on the Champlain, Gatineau and Lac-Fortune Parkways. In Gatineau Park, the section north of Lac-Meech Road (P8 parking lot), is ideal for families with young children. This section is closed for two additional hours, from 6 am to 1 pm.

Volunteers from KPMG, Gowlings, the Canadian Red Cross and the Canadian Mental Health Association will be on hand to welcome you.
