Mumford & Sons bass player Ted Dwane is sporting a shaved melon and a gnarly head scar following last week’s emergency surgery for a blood clot on his brain … and this morning, Ted shared a pic of his new look.

Dwane — who usually sports a long shag — shared the photo on the band’s official blog along with the message, “Bear with a sore head! Thanks so much for all the well wishing, it seems to be working! I’m home.”

His bandmates had a sense of humor about it … saying, Ted “has been nothing short of heroic in how he has handled the whole ordeal, and now it has been medically proven that he does indeed have a brain!”

The bassist was hospitalized on Monday to undergo an emergency operation to treat a blood clot on his brain, prompting the band to axe three U.S. gigs this week.

John Travolta delighted a newlywed couple at the weekend by showing up at their wedding to extend his congratulations.
The Grease star met the bride and groom at a bar in Georgia and accepted their invitation to watch them exchange vows at the ceremony the following day.
Travolta, dressed in jeans and a T-shirt, gave a thumbs up as he posed for pictures with the happy couple, and he also took a snap with the entire wedding party

Pretty cool that he kept his word!

Bill Hader, the newly-retired “Saturday Night Live” star spilled the beans about what it was like backstage when the pop star hosted back in February.
While on Howard Stern’s radio show on Wednesday, Hader said that Bieber’s large entourage was distracting and made it hard for the cast and crew to work around.
“Justin Bieber showed up with like 20 guys. And every time, backstage is a very small constructed place, he had a guy holding a slice of pizza, a guy holding a Diet Coke. You were trying to fight around all these people to get dressed.”
He then compared Bieber with another A-list celebrity “SNL” host, Justin Timberlake, who he says came to host the show without any hangers-on.
“Timberlake, it was just him. He’s a real class act, that guy.”

The Canadian singer and rapper was spotted in New York this week filming scenes for the upcoming Anchorman sequel. This isn’t Drake’s first go at acting, of course: the rapper starred on the Canadian teen drama Degrassi: The Next Generation for seven seasons before his rise as a musician.
Anchorman 2 is set for a December 20th opening.
