The British singer isn’t ready to detail her life experiences in a book yet, as she’s still got so much more life to live. Find out how much she turned down, below..
The 24-year-old singer reportedly turned down a seven-figure book deal with publishers Harper Collins because she’s too young.
“Even though she received a lucrative offer, her primary concern was that she doesn’t want to write a book about just 24 years,” a source told the Daily Mirror. “She feels she’d rather wait until she has more life experience to write about.”
In just two-and-a-half decades the “Rolling in the Deep” singer has had quite a life. She’s won nine Grammys, 12 Billboard Music Awards, four American Music Awards and a Best Original Song Oscar for “Skyfall,” just to name a few highpoints.
But despite being a worldwide musical phenomenon, Adele is reportedly an extremely private person who suffers from severe stage fright, which could be another reason for her decision to postpone writing her life’s story.
